Woorabinda Healthy Country Plan and Woorabinda Ranger Program

Community Bred was engaged to work with the Woorabinda Project Reference Group to lead the development of Woorabinda’s first healthy country plan in January 2021. WPRG’s commitment through 12 meetings over 18 months led the launch of a comprehensive plan in June 2022.
Community Bred worked with Woorabinda Aboriginal Shire Council and Greening Australia to apply for ranger funding in 2021 through the Queensland Indigenous Land and Sea Ranger Program. The successful application has led to employment for five Woorabinda locals.
